Decolonial Spotlight

This coming of age drama explores the 1990 Kanesatake Resistance / Oka Crisis, which Deer lived through as a child, through the eyes of Tekehentahkhwa (nicknamed "Beans", and played by Kiawenti:io), a young Mohawk girl whose perspective on life is radically changed by these events.
