From erosion to overgrazing to enduring poverty, the people of Lesotho— a highland country surrounded by South Africa— adapt to challenges by upcycling discarded trash into beautiful jewelry, clothing, and rugs. BIFF alum Iara Lee crafts an immersive portrait of the artistry of a country adapting to environmental challenges with boundless creativity.
