A 13-years-old girl imagines her first kiss in a very romantic and detailed manner. But, just like all important life events, it isn’t what she expects. Her pursuit after the perfect first kiss becomes a journey of disillusionment.

Rosie (Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja), a 13-year-old Chinese-American girl, embarks on a skateboarding escapade through the streets of New York with her crush and his best friend - at the cost of abandoning her little sister and never delivering a forgotten lunchbox.

Rising freshmen Izzy (Sara LoCasale) and Annabelle (Zoe Nesbitt) are best friends but when the girls receive unsolicited attention from a group of older boys at the pool Annabelle's conservative mother blames Izzy. Faced with a difficult situation at home and no money for new school clothes Izzy takes matters into her own hands when an opportunity presents itself and steps into her power in defiance of a judgmental world.

A 17-year-old kid from South Chicago, coexists with his selfish foster mother. On September 13, 2004, on his way to school with his best friend they discover something that will change their lives forever.

A dark comedy about a neurotic, but driven 17-year-old Chinese-American violinist on a mission to get admitted to Harvard at any cost. After spotting a mistake in her application at the last minute, she embarks on a midnight rampage through her magnet high school, blackmailing a socially-awkward teenage hacker to deliver the perfect audition for the elusive Dean of Admissions before the deadline.
