Humboldt Parkway was a beloved feature of Buffalo. In the 1960s it was bulldozed to make way for an expressway that has caused a great health hazard for people living around it. The expressway has exceeded its life expectancy. Now the people of Buffalo have the opportunity to restore this glorious masterpiece of the Olmsted-designed Parkways system.
