SUNY Buffalo State's Communication Department, founded in the 1970s, is one of the largest departments at the college, with B.A. degrees in Media Production, Public Relations & Advertising, Journalism, and Communication Studies as well as an online M.S. in Public Relations degree. Its graduates are employed in communication jobs across the United States.
